Camden Rideout with Mysterons, Right Track Scooter Club and New Forest Club

Very good rideout enjoyed by all I think. 

We all met at The Charrington Bowl - Right Track turned up about 12 midday and we left for London at 12.30. 47 scooter turned up, sorry to hear that Derv had broken down.  I was a bit concerned about 1) how do we keep 47 scooters together thru London 2) where do we park 47  scooters in Camden.  Managed to keep everyone together, thanks to James, Ray, Geoff (at the back) and Terry,  until a couple of miles away, and then lost everyone whilst taking a phone call.  However, saw the lot from Luton (Hi Dano and old git Martin) and eventually the rest turn up, so 55  scoots in total, not bad for a day out.

We had parked on a paved area, but when John asked a warden, he said we would all get tickets so we had to move!  Luckily, Kim saved the day, by finding a car park round the corner for us!  Then everyone drifted off to do their own. thing, I think Terry is a bit broke now after spending a fortune on clothes!  We all met again 4 to make our way home.  One guy on a red lammy broke down, right outside the palace wall, but the police were okay and, an ice cream van stopped for us.  Lost everyone at Victoria, but eventually caught up with them all near Wandsworth.  Also bumped into Alberto and Sonia, long time SLR members.

The weather was great, and I even managed to sell some club patches (£5) and lots of members liked the new jackets with embroidered badge on (£20 - see photo below).  Contact the club if anyone wants one before the IOW.  Also t-shirts for £5 with IOW 2005 on and SLR logo.

Great to see everyone, especially Wayne, Faye, Biggles, James, Gary, Mandy, Del boy, and everyone else from Right Track.  See you all at the IOW!!
