Aces High - Lazy Sunday Afternoon - 14th August 2005

Had an uneventful ride to Pease Pottage, where were we met by a couple of Aces High, and then we rode on to the Hassocks pub, where about 50 scooters were.

Then we had a really good ride to the RSPCA, with the Aces High stopping all the traffic, in order that we all stayed together, and all wearing fluorescent vests, so we knew who to follow!  The best organised I've been on to be honest.

I told the girls at the RSPCA they should pass a bucket round to collect some money, and they promptly gave me an RSPCA collection box,!  So I then went round and made everyone put some money in.  I was very impressed with the high standard of care the cats and dogs were getting.  Photo of the Aces High club with the pets is below.

We then went back, but stopped off on some hill called Ditchling Beacon, or something like that.  There's a nice photo of all of us (except me, as I took it!) below.

Then back to the The Hassocks, where there was a bbq, music, raffle, dance floor etc.  We won 5 prizes between us. Will came out best with a rear carrier.  Photos below.

We also won "Best turned out Club" again, so that 4 trophies this year.
